He climbed into the car exhausted and weak. The moment I held him in my lap, he drifted off to sleep as if he hadn’t truly rested in days. His tiny body finally relaxed, trusting that he was safe at last.

Today, we’re heading home together. It may only be a small 30m² studio apartment, but to us, it already feels perfect. We may not have much space, but we have something far more important — love, warmth, and a place where he will never feel unwanted again.

Some people looked at him and gave up. They didn’t see his gentle heart, his quiet trust, or the comfort he was waiting to share with someone willing to care. But sometimes life works in unexpected ways, and their decision became my blessing.

Thank you to the people who walked away from him, because without realizing it, you gave me one of the greatest gifts I could have ever received.
