What did he drink?

That’s a fair question! Looking at the creative (and sometimes slightly quirky) tips for upcycling bras, you might almost think one too many glasses of wine were involved. In fact, these upcycling ideas usually come from the “zero waste” movement. The motto there is: nothing gets thrown away until you’ve tried to make a pincushion or shoe cushion out of it.

In the world of internet content, three things often get mixed up:

Genuine sustainability (e.g., donating to organizations).

Practical life hacks (e.g., silica gel packets that actually work).

“Clickbait” creativity (bra cups as scented sachets – you can do it, but you have to really want to).

If the tips sound more like a “crash” than a “genius” to you: The silica gel idea from the first answer is based on sound chemistry and physics. The bra pads in the shoes, on the other hand, are more of a desperate attempt to avoid the trash.

Which of the tips struck you as particularly “intoxicating”?
