When my mother shared the news that she had found happiness again, I felt nothing but excitement for her. After years of rebuilding her life following a difficult chapter, she seemed brighter, more confident, and genuinely hopeful about the future. Seeing her smile in a way I hadn’t seen for a long time felt like a gift. Naturally, I wanted to support her. But when I finally met the man she had fallen in love with, I found myself struggling with unexpected doubts.
